I would throw on an ND filter and smooth the water, but I guess that's up to you, if you like the waves or not (which I find mildly distracting). I like the glassy thumbnail of this, since I can't really see so much detail in the water at that size. I think impact might notch up a point if the viewer wasn't more disoriented than they already are (unless that's your goal, of course).
Figuring out how you took this shot could not be more confusing (this is a good thing) -- I'm guessing you've rotated the image 180 degrees, and the tree is in a pond at the edge of the water.
I like that curving tree trunk -- it looks like that Fibonacci/Golden thingamagig. The shadows around the leaves are nice as well.
