yep, I've gone to a photo-trip trying these out (my first venture into HDR)... it may take a few minutes to get a shot, but I'm quite pleased with the possibilities...
(did a cave with ~9 shots of expositions ranging from <1 to up to 30 secs, but it turned too blurry regardless of the tripod and timer-shots as I had to manually change exp and touch the camera... guess one should have a remote control for these kinds of shots)
what do you think of the result? looks too saturated?

I think I know what you mean, I'm still having some second thoughts on HDR myself. It can have beautiful results, but they can sometimes turn out quite unreal or painting-like (not that it is neccessarily a bad thing, but sometimes it's just too weird and distracting)
I actually started looking into HDR again now that we're talking about it...and there are some pretty cool looking things around (for example this [link] ). I guess it's all about getting that damn tone mapping to work correctly.
