All the magnificence of this ancient settlement is captured in this single photo. Yes, it definitely is.

The sky is amazing. The clouds give it a ''turbulent'' look, but it definitely adds to the beauty of the photo. It is almost as if the Heavens embraced the mountains around, swallowing the Andes in the background, surrounding the ancient city.

The quality is excellent. The play of the colours is beautiful, shifting from the darker shades to the brighter ones in the front. The sunlight enlightens the old walls and the patches of green leading to the very heart of the mountain.

And yes, it would definitely look better without people - not that they ruin the harmony, but it would look more ''surreal'' and ''timeless''. This way, it is put into twenty-first century, but without them, we could allow ourselves to imagine... it would really be like a photo from an article. It'd say it would be definitely worth of National Geographic. Who knows, we might even see it there in future. The time will show.
