Hmm, interesting idea. Are you sure stock would be the way to go though? I expect people would want exclusive rights then, as if you're printing a book you don't want others printing their own books or something with the same image, and that would be quite a bit more costly (maybe I'm wrong in the idea that stock sites just trade at really low prices, for things like web resources?)
Not 100% sure, because then I would be considered unwise- I find it is always a better solution to brain pick others to chose the best way to go around things- but for this particular photo my opinion is that stock would mean extra income and more highlight on you and your work, call it your business card
This is also because, although it suggests a very appropriate setting for a vampire adventure, it is only that- the setting so a potential buyer-writer would give you the specifics about what are his characters features and how to bring them in the photo.
Dunno if my rambling makes sense, long day at work Anyway, it was just a thought, you're the decision maker
Hm, I can't really explain. It's just a feeling. When I saw the colors, the fog and this secluded place and imagine that I would be alone there... Somehow there seems to be a cold atmosphere and because of that my first thought was "depressing".
I really like this. The framing is just phenomenal- the dark trees on the side anchor the photograph, while the lighter path down the middle draws your eye farther and farther in. There's a softness and a sense of mystery that really intrigues me about this piece. The simple color scheme, black and white with hints of red, almost adds an element of danger as well. It seems like the forest is enchanted- not by disney fairies and sparkling unicorns, but twisted crones that can send you to a good fate-or a bad one.
