I love the sheer emotion of this photo, in fact it's probably one of my favourite photo's on DA.

The Vision you've created is very interesting, I'm loving the mist on the lake and the huge rays of sunlight gleaming through the tree in the right hand corner.

When it comes to Originality, it's the only thing that lets this photo down. I've seen so many photo's of ducks on lakes, however this one of beautiful, stunning, but not original.

As for Technique, I like what you've done, no fancy angles or editing, just a plain picture, true to what it is. Brilliant. I'm sorry I'm not more thorough in this field but there's nothing more to say than that it's fantastic!

And finally for Impact. Wow, I love it, the impact from this photo is simply fabulous, the sun glinting through the tree onto the lake is just beautiful. This photo is easy on the eye and just brilliant.

I wish this critique could give this photo justice but I'm not feeling very well at the moment so this critique may seem quite vague. I just couldn't wait to critique this photo and needed to do it today! Just keep up the fantastic photo's and I will definately be watching you and critiquing more of your photography when I'm feeling a little better.
