It's so lovely! I love the colors and the HDR effects . I've never tried HDR, and I don't think my camera has that ability . I heard HDR is a pain in the butt, however, it can't be so bad if the results are this! Everything looks so natural and soothing. This is one of my top favourites of your gallery . And I have a lot of favourites .

Well, while an automatic bracketing on camera helps, it is not really a must-have. All you need is a good tripod. Fix the camera, take e.g. 3 shots of the exact same scene (one normal, one overexposed, one underexposed), and connect them all in a software like Photomatrix (or Photoshop, but that's more complicated, though also more powerful)
So I guess what I really need to invest in is a tripod . Thank you for the tip! I should definitely try it out sometime as an experiment. It'll give me an excuse to make a trip to the beach .
