_{This photo was taken in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on a rainy day.
In the evening, the rain stopped and I took a walk through the old town. In the 20 minutes of daylight this scene appeared, and I just couldn't miss it.

What you're looking at is Fort Lovrijenac, and to the left is Fort Bokar, part of Dubrovnik's city walls.

This magical place represents the city of King's Landing in the Game of Thrones series!

Composition is superlative, the water and sky erupt like magic. It's hard to believe such beauty exists all around us and we still scrabble over things that hardly matter. I love you photos, they sing with poetry unspoken. They broadcast a history that is almost lost to us. If only we can see, can feel, can bring our minds to the past as we look toward the future. Your photos are excellent and they tell me stories. So thanks for the captured moment in time and thank you for sharing your great talent with us all. Safe journey in your travels.
