_{Since this winter was so cold (-20 at times here), Plitvice Lakes got partially frozen. This kind of freezing doesn't happen too often so I rushed over to take some photos of the ice sculptures the lakes and waterfalls create.

The photo here is truly magnificent. The color and formation of the ice, the sharp points, and the clarity of the photo.

It has almost an angelic appearance to it, soft, fragile, yet threateningly sharp at the same time. It looks almost like a whole other world completely, say an ice age.

I really don't know of anything bad I could say about this piece. The detail has a superior 'icy' clarity to it. You truly were in the right place at the right time

Though I'm giving originality 3.5 stars due to the fact that icicles are very commonly photographed. Though, that doesn't mean we should stop photographing them
